When you don’t come to God as you are, you simply deny who He is…
If you are in sin and need forgiveness, but don’t come to God who is Forgiving then you’re simply denying who He is.
If you are sick in your body and desire healing, but don’t come to God who is your Healer then you’re simply denying who He is.
If you are in bondage and seek freedom, but don’t come to God who is your Deliverer then you’re simply denying who He is.
If you are lost and are living without purpose, but don’t come to God who is your Saviour and Creator then you’re simply denying who He is.
If you are full of fear and live in despair, but don’t come to God who is Love and your Hope then you’re simply denying who He is.
If you are feeling orphaned and lonely, but don’t come to God who is your Everlasting and ever present Father then you’re simply denying who He is.
…And the list can go on.
You have to always go before the throne of grace as you are, and meet with God for who He is.
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4 vs 16 (NKJV)
