Following requires immediate obedience, even when we do not understand. As you follow in faith, you will become, believe and trust. Two scenarios given in Scripture show us this and the rest of Scripture validates that it was in fact true, as it did happen this way.

‬‬“And He said to them, “ Follow Me [as My disciples, ACCEPTING Me as your Master and Teacher and walking the same path of life that I walk], and I will make you fishers of men.” IMMEDIATELY they left their nets and followed Him [BECOMING His disciples, BELIEVING and TRUSTING in Him and following His‭‭ example].

Matthew ‭4 vs 19-20‬ ‭(AMP)

We do not need all the answers beforehand in order to follow Jesus. It is in following Him that we will come to know truth and have our many questions answers… and also our many answers questioned. ‭‭

And going on [further] from there He noticed two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets; and He called them [to follow Him as His disciples]. IMMEDIATELY they left the boat and their father, and followed Him [BECOMING His disciples, BELIEVING and TRUSTING in Him and following His example].’

Matthew 4 vs 21-22 (AMP)
