“And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” – Colossians 2:13-14 NKJV
Our sin was upon Jesus and was then nailed to the cross of Calvary… If it weren’t so, then sin would’ve still been on Christ. If sin stayed on Christ and was not nailed to the cross, then Jesus would not have been able to be raised from the dead to life. And because our sin has been nailed to the cross, we too can have the confidence that death no longer has no hold on us, and that we too will be raised from death to life.
