Today, many people have such a weak knowledge of the Scriptures and what it teaches about Jesus, that if Jesus had to appear before them, they wouldn’t recognise him at all. Do not think that’s not true. It happened with the Jews and they had the Scriptures engraved into their minds. How much more are people missing him today. He simply cannot be found by them, because they are simply not looking, and even if they did look now with what they know, it’s possible they would recognise him at all.
