Sin in man has a purpose and it also has a process… a 3 step process.
It takes time for sin to accomplish its work.
“Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”
James 1:15 (NIV)
BUT
God also had a purpose and He also had a process… it was also a 3 step process. The good news is that His timing was perfect and He has already accomplished His work.
What I love is that God also has a desire. His desire was and is to save the lost and reconcile sinners unto Himself for all eternity. This desire was conceived in a virgin, this virgin gave birth to Jesus and when Christ was fully grown (at the age of 33), his death gave birth to eternal life.
‘For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’
