I am amazed that satan sends his wolves into the flock of sheep (the church). And this, for the purpose of destroying it.
Yet, I am also amazed that God sends his sheep into a pack of wolves (the world). And this, for the purpose of saving it.
““Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. – Matthew 7 vs 15 (AMP)
““Listen carefully: I am sending you out like sheep among wolves; so be wise as serpents, and innocent as doves [have no self-serving agenda].” – Matthew 10 vs 16 (AMP)
“For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose and plan of God. Take care and be on guard for yourselves and for the whole flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd (tend, feed, guide) the church of God which He bought with His own blood. I know that after I am gone, [false teachers like] ferocious wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; even from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse and distorted things, to draw away the disciples after themselves [as their followers].” – Acts 20 vs 27 – 31 (AMP)
