Tragically, many people are more worried about a RESPONSE to Gospel preaching, than about the RESPONSIBILITY of preaching the Gospel.

Amen… some churches will preach a watered down version of the Gospel just to receive a better response…
True.
The believers reward will not be in how many people responded, but rather in how many repented as a result of solid, faithful and uncompromised Gospel preaching.
Angels do not rejoice is responses only, but true repentance (Repentance is to be the response, not response for response sake). May we rejoice in the same thing.
See what Jesus DID NOT SAY…
“After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” – Mark 1:15 (NIV)
Notice, it does not say, “Respond and believe the good news!”
