With an open page before me it’s boundless where to start,
To begin to share of an unconditional love shed abroad in my heart,
As difficult as it may be I shall write of the above,
Of how I encounter and experience this unconditional love
This love is totally utterly completely selfless!
It’s a love that never fails; it’s a love that’s always kind,
It’s a love that always protects and trusts every time,
It’s a love that is enduring and difficult to define,
It’s a love that never wavers; it’s a love that is now mine,
This love is totally utterly completely selfless!
It’s a love that leaves me satisfied but dissatisfied to want more,
It’s a love that softens my stony heart and breaks down all the walls,
It’s a love that speaks of the worth of my precious soul,
It’s a love that never angers but seeks to make me whole,
This love is totally utterly completely selfless!
I don’t deserve such love yet this love I have received,
It was given to me by grace before I had believed,
Such love cannot be bought for the bid is way too high,
But Christ bid my soul with love and won me when he died.
This love is totally utterly selfless!
This love I love to love and this love loves to love me too,
This love is unconditional, and it’s given to me and you!
